NBA Eastern Conference Finals Preview

Eastern Conference Finals
(1) Bulls vs (2) Heat
It's the face off everyone wanted to see. This year's MVP Derrick Rose against the 2009 & 2010 MVP Lebron James. The star power (and ratings) will be through the roof. It's a best case scenario for the NBA with two of the two bigger markets and more popular teams matching up. Let's break it down.

These are two squads with completely contrasting offensive styles. The Heat play an uptempo run-and-gun offense and will be tough to stop in transition. Few tandems have the superior driving and dishing abilities of Lebron and Dwyane Wade. In the half-court, the advantage swings to the Bulls. Their inside duo of Carlos Boozer and Joakim Noah will be very difficult for Miami to handle. While both squads can be counted on for offensive spurts, don't expect this to be a high-scoring series. These are two of the top defensive units in basketball we're talking about. With Miami and Chicago also both excelling from behind the arc, I see late threes being the key in what should prove to be a tightly contested series. I definitely see this battle living up to the hype and going the distance. Although Chicago swept the regular season series, I think the slight playoff experience edge goes to Miami in this one.
Prediction: Heat in 6
